Mission Statement
To be the essential resource for Moms.

Vision Statement:
To fulfill the three 'works' of a MOM:
1. Home-Based work - Tips for the home-based or part-time working mom
2. Network - To provide a means to share a moms work with other moms.
3. Moms Work - Everyday life support information.

There is no one I am aware of that is offering this kind of service. Yes, there are networking sites and yes, there are resource sites but Classic MOM Net connects the two together.
If you are working to build a business from home, want to increase your already small business or want to link up with other MOMs who have a business that might benefit you in your daily life - this will be the source.

We rely on you to provide feedback on current issues, ask questions, nominate a business, share service successess and let us know about events that may not be posted in the newspapers.

So, here is what we need from you
1. Have a baby sitter you love and who wants to work more? Let us know her name and we will list her. If under 18 we will need parents approval to post.
2. Is there a product or service you love and you think moms need to know about it? Please share it with us.
3. Answer the following question: When I'm not (child's name here) mom I like to (fill in the blank; massage, sleep, go for a drive, etc.)
4. Have a business you want us to review, send it here and we will check it out. In fact we are looking for feedback on two businesses for our next issue - Kids Park and Jack's Urban Eats. Have an opinion, send it here.
5. Dear Classic MOM Net - This is little like a Dear Abby but we will seek out other moms to answer the question.
6. Classic MOM - This is someone you can nominate who is organized, special, creative, or just a nice person. Let us know.


Classic MOM Net - Monthly Networking Meeting
Here is what sets us apart. Each month we will meet at a different location. Park, business, day care, etc.

MOMs will have the opportunity to share their business, hand out brochures and meet other moms who will be doing the same. But that is not all. This is a working meeting and you will be able to share what you have been doing that has been successful, ask for marketing advice and you will begin to build a strategic plan for success with other moms who are wanting to do the same. This meeting is all about supporting the business mom.

Our first meeting will be at Hazel McFarland Park (next to Empire Oaks Elementary School) on Wednesday, April 25th at 10:00 a.m. Bring brochures, business cards, products and something to write on.
